We are all connected
Again I’m sitting in front of my laptop wondering what to write…..there’s so much going on in the world….just read the news…..the whole world seems to go crazy…..it’s 1am and after reading through the news I don’t see how I can go to sleep…..so I decided to write my monthly newsletter and be with you. Yes it seems as if I’m talking straight to you and it feels very comforting to share my thoughts with you.
I’d like to tell you about a meeting which I’m attending once every 2 months with german speaking women, part of which I grew up with in Munich. Anyway, each time we meet we come up with a topic of interest for everyone and this time our topic was our dads.
Each one was telling the story of her father, were he was born, what he was like, what she learned from him and so on. As the stories unfolded it allowed each one of us to become part of a family……an intimate glimpse into another persons life and as much as the stories variated I also could see the connecting thread between all of us….it almost felt like a big family and the evening changed from a brief “Hello, how are you?” into a very personal and emotional bond between the group.
The point I wanna make is that each one of us has a different story, a different background, different experiences and when we listen to one another from our heart, we realise that we’re all connected and judgement clears away.
